Jarrahdale Tavern has been bringing people together in the hills since 1886.
Jarrahdale Tavern’s story began in 1886, when the building first operated as a guest house and kitchen supporting the thriving timber industry that shaped the town.
Jarrahdale itself grew around the timber industry, and the Tavern became part of the community that supported the people who lived and worked here.
Today, the Tavern continues that tradition in its own way — as a place for locals, families, visitors and travellers to stop, eat, drink and enjoy themselves.
The Shire’s heritage documentation identifies the property as the first and only remaining hotel established in Jarrahdale and records its original use as commercial premises associated with the town’s early development.
